You show up for your clients.
This is where someone shows up for you.
What does it count toward?
This is not clinical supervision. No one practices EMDR under my license. This is a dedicated space for therapists who are already practicing EMDR and looking to strengthen their skills, process complex cases, and grow their clinical confidence.
- EMDR Basic Training completion (Weekend 1 & 2)
- EMDRIA Certification
- EMDRIA Approved Consultant status
- Deepening EMDR practice, even without a certification goal
Navigating EMDR without a map?
You've completed your EMDR training, or you're working through it, but something still feels uncertain. Maybe you're unsure how to adapt the protocol for clients whose trauma is rooted in systemic oppression, identity-based violence, or chronic marginalization. Maybe you're carrying complex cases that don't fit neatly into the standard eight phases. Maybe you just want a space to think out loud with someone who gets it.
This is that space.
Consultation grounded in liberation.
This is a space for trauma-informed EMDR consultation through a decolonial and liberatory lens. Together, we explore how EMDR can be practiced in ways that are clinically grounded, relationally attuned, and responsive to the realities of systemic oppression, especially for working class communities, people of color, and queer and trans communities.
This space centers:
- Person-in-environment case conceptualization
- Culturally responsive and affirming care
- Critical examination of clinical norms rooted in white supremacy
- Nervous system-informed and relational approaches to trauma work
- Adapting EMDR with integrity, flexibility, and discernment
You will learn the protocol and develop the clinical judgment to know when flexibility, responsiveness, and humanity matter more than rigid adherence.
This is a space that prioritizes people over protocol and liberation over pathology.
This space is for you if...
This space is for therapists working with complex trauma, with emphasis on LGBTQIA+ affirming care. It's for LGBTQIA+ therapists and for those who work with LGBTQIA+ clients, supporting people whose trauma intersects with identity-related stress, such as sexuality, gender, race, disability, and class, within an increasingly hostile political climate.
Individual and bilingual (English/Spanish) group consultation available.
You're encouraged to bring:
- Complex cases you're not sure how to conceptualize
- Questions about the eight phases and how to apply them
- Uncertainty about adapting EMDR for marginalized clients
- A desire to practice with more confidence and less self-doubt

FAQs
Still have questions about EMDR Consultation for Therapists? Find commonly asked questions, and what to expect.
Clinical supervision involves a licensed supervisor overseeing pre-licensed therapists who are working toward licensure, the supervisor holds professional liability for the supervisee's cases.
Consultation is different. Here, you are a fully licensed (or independently practicing) therapist, and no one is practicing under my license.
I'm offering case feedback, clinical support, and EMDR-specific guidance to help you strengthen your practice. Think of it as a reflective, collaborative space, not an evaluative one.
Sessions are collaborative and therapist-led, you bring what you need. That might be a complex case you're working through, a question about applying the eight phases, uncertainty about adapting EMDR for a client navigating systemic trauma, or simply a desire for reflective feedback on your clinical approach. We'll work through it together through a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive lens.
Not necessarily. I provide consultation for therapists at various stages including those currently completing EMDR Basic Training (Weekend 1 & 2), those pursuing EMDRIA Certification, and therapists who have completed training and want to deepen their practice.
If you're unsure whether this is the right fit for where you are, reach out and we can talk it through.
No. This space is open to LGBTQIA+ therapists as well as therapists of any background who work with LGBTQIA+ clients and want to strengthen that care.
All consultation sessions are held virtually.
Once you book through Calendly, you'll receive a confirmation with your session link. No downloads required, just a stable internet connection and a private space to talk.
